Belleek Pottery Visitor Centre Awarded 4 Star Visitor Attraction Grading

Belleek Pottery Visitor Centre are delighted to announce they have been awarded a Four Star Visitor Attraction grading by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board! This award is highly recognised and provides assurance to visitors of the quality of service and facilities they will experience at Belleek Pottery.

Commenting on the award, Patricia McCauley, Belleek Pottery Visitor Centre Manager said:

‘This great achievement is the result of hard work and a huge team effort by all of our staff here at Belleek Pottery. Well done to all and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors from all corners of the globe over the coming season!’

Belleek Pottery is one of the most enduring success stories in craftsmanship, celebrating its 156th year with it is famously known for being the oldest working pottery in Ireland.

Visitors take a personally guided tour of the factory and see how the techniques developed by the very first Belleek craftsmen 156 years ago are still followed today. Lasting around 30 minutes the tour takes you through every stage of the Belleek productions process and gives you the opportunity to meet our craftspeople, many of whom are the third or fourth generation of their family to work at the Pottery.

An audio visual presentation will inform you of the rich history of the pottery from its beginnings right the way through to present day whilst our Belleek Museum offers a display of pottery through the ages.

Enjoy a little retail therapy in the Belleek Pottery showroom where you have the opportunity to purchase from our exclusive range and complete your visit by taking a little time out at our on-site restaurant where you can enjoy some well deserved refreshments from our savoury and sweet menu.

The Belleek Pottery Visitor Centre is open all year round with tours available from Monday to Friday and also on Saturdays during high season.
